Mata Sundri College for Women

About the College
Mata Sundri College for Women was established by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee in 1967 and is named after the consort of the tenth Sikh Guru- Sri Guru Gobind Singh. The college commenced with 415 students and 14 staff members and has grown manifold over the years, with the latest wing of the college inaugurated in 2004. The college is now striving to become a centre for the promotion of Punjabi Language and Culture.

Size, Infrastructure, Facilities
Mata Sundri College for Women in located at the intersection of Old and New Delhi. The college is one of the larger ones in Delhi University with 3000 students, 175 teachers and 53 administrative staff members. The facilities at the college include a 500 seat auditorium; a gymnasium and WiFi connected laboratories. The college has a number of extra- curricular societies, including one focussed on Divinity.
